We’ll make sure they get recycled responsibly and locally. We’re happy to accept almost anything that plugs into the wall or runs on batteries. By letting us recycle your reusable electronic items, like newer working computers (2014 or later for Apple, 2015 or later for certain non-Apple), plus monitors, TVs, and smartphones, you help us meet our operating costs — and will ultimately help us expand the GreenCitizen model of e-waste recycling and reuse to other metropolitan areas.

The items below are FREE to recycle and can be mail-in:

ALL Macbook EFi, Device Enrollment Program, and Remote Management Locks must be removed.

Our Data Destruction Fees:

Certified Data Destruction – $20.00 per hard drive
Cell Phone/ Laptop/ Desktop/ server
Each Cell phone, laptop, desktop, or server will be data destructed with a data destruction certificate from GreenCitizen.
Certified Tape Destruction – $3.00 per Tape
The logic-board memory, sim card, and any removable data storage are all destroyed.
Phone numbers, names, and other information are completely deleted.
Mass Data Destruction – $5.00 per hard drive
Cell Phone/ Laptop/ Desktop/ server
Each Cell phone, laptop, desktop, or server will be data destructed without any data destruction certificate.

Electronics Recycling – We CANNOT accept these items:

Furniture: Chairs, Couches, etc. Light Bulbs Large appliances:
stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers
Non-Rechargeable Electronic Batteries:
Carbon Zinc, Zinc Air, Disposable Batteries
Single-use alkaline batteries Items containing liquid mercury: Thermometers, Thermostats, etc.
Smoke Detectors:
models that contain americium 241
Hazardous Waste:
Paint, Motor Oil, Sharps, Bio Hazardous Waste, etc.
